Border Security & Boater Awareness
Captain Bob Lang Past Commodore of WRYCC (West River Yacht & Cruising Club) invites you to an informative gathering of Federal, State and local government to discuss current border security, law enforcement, customs and immigration rules and regulations as they relate to the recreational boater.
This "Boaters Security Briefing" will provide you the boater with the latest updates on rules, regulations and procedures and a clear understanding of the security issues facing these agencies.
All of us are well aware of the increased presents of law enforcemnt agencies on our waterways, we need to understand the latest rules and regulations and operate our boats within these requirements.
This "Boaters Security Briefing" will allow you the opportunity to direct questions to these agencies. I firmly believe the boaters that gather at this Briefing will demonstrate their willingness to work with these agencies in whatever capacity they can. Also, I am hopeful that these agencies will listen to our concerns and direct those concerns to their superiors or appropriate authority for consideration and implementation as applicable.
